the current implementation requires the user to click on the current page or MOTD Message of the Page(?), to open the navigation. this is unclear and basically unusable.

possible better implementations:

  • 1/2 lines navigation that is always visible - might not be nice on smaller phones due to wrapping resulting in more lines
  • classic hamburger menu
